God's blessings to you Mark and Astrid and family on this sad occasion. This picture of Don (albeit many years later) brings back so many good memories of him (and Helen of course) in the 50's,60's, and 70's. From Manitoba to Alberta our family crossed paths with him, myself playing fastball with him in the earlier years representing Holy Cross Church in Winnipeg. Great times! When we moved to Alberta (Millarville) Don was so readily available to help with building our log house, and with anything else that would come up. We spent many enjoyable dinners with them, and our sons interacted as well. We appreciated their friendship, not knowing many people in the Calgary area. And somehow we lost contact since moving to B.C. But will never forget Don's kindness and his laugh.
