Betty Lou and Bud were among the first people Dean and I met when we moved into UAL about six years ago. We sat with them at a social event, and Betty Lou was so welcoming and Bud was so quiet. I asked him what was his name, and when he replied "Bud", I couldn't help but tell him Bud was my favourite beer and anyone named "Bud" would forever be my favourite person.
