We are sincerely sorry for your loss of Vic.

We have known him since the early 1980s when he was a pheasant hunter at our facility. We opened a Sporting Clays range and he quickly and enthusiastically took on that as his sport of choice. He came out every week to shoot with his group of friends. He also shot many competitions here and he was always in the top! He was one of the best shots at our club. He supported our business all those years! From purchasing firearms to clothing and shells. He kindly worked with us to choose good flooring for our new Cookhouse building. He personally invited us to his home for a Christmas gathering one year, which was so special. We thought the world of Vic. He was a great guy. He was never ever late for a booking time.In fact he often he beat us to the clubhouse in the morning with his early arrival waiting for us to open up. Everyone at Silver Willow knew him and loved him. He will be dearly missed.

God be with you all, Don, Gwen and Josh, Jena Day and all the staff.

My deepest condolences. VIC was my boss for many years at Buckwold Western.He helped me improve my sales approach. And taught me to speak publicly without fear.

He and Susan stood up at my wedding. A day we won't soon forget. His humor and good spirit were always welcoming.

So long boss, enjoy Paradise, I hear the dogs are trained and the ducks are a plenty.

So long Vic! It was a pleasure having shared a blind with you for duck and goose hunting. I’m sorry our time together ended the way it did however I’m sure you always had lots of opportunities waterfowl. I always appreciated your quick wit and sense of ha- ha.

One thing I had hoped for was for you and I to share at least a time or two more in the blind here in my northern residence, unfortunately it was not meant to be.

The great times spent with you personally and through your community involvement in hockey, lacrosse, camping excursions and special milestone events in our lives has given us wonderful memories. Your quick wit and tall tales were the heart of those get-togethers.

My Deepest Sympathies to Sue and the family, i met Vic when i was 16 and just starting in my dad’s flooring company! He was always a super nice guy and he and my Dad shared many a war story around the “bottle pool “table at the old Elks club in Lethbridge. He was one of the first , and the best rep that we had and always super honest to deal with!

Vic was the godfather of flooring. He taught me so much, and he always had your back. He fought me how to sell and how to shoot. Love you Vickers. You will be greatly missed.

Vic was a force to be reckoned with, a fierce competitor. We did manage to work on a few projects over the years together in flooring and he was great to work with. Condolences to the family.

I met Vic back in the late 70's when I first started in the flooring industry at Contempa Carpets. He was a wonderful person. even over the years when ever I ran into him it was always a joy to catch up with him. Always a good story to tell. He will be missed by many. Thought's and prayers for his whole family.

Dear Sue, Ryan (tuna) and Megan, Kathy and I were very sorry to hear of Vic’s passing. We fondly remember the times of our family gatherings, tubing, fishing expeditions and old timers hockey. Vic was well expected in the Bonavista community. A good family man and good friend. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and the family at this time.
