Kimberley Davis

Obituary of Kimberley Ann Davis

October 24, 1979 – Scarborough, Ontario

October 26, 2024 – Airdrie, Alberta

Kimberley Davis (nee Van Vliet), the beloved wife of Brent Davis of Airdrie, AB, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the age of 45 years.

Kimberley was a fiercely loyal and loving wife, mother, and friend whose love for Jesus deepened as she faced an impossible cancer journey. Her deep faith shaped all aspects of her life, growing even stronger when she became sick, and she discovered new depths of God’s mercy and compassion in her illness, inspiring everyone around her.

Above all, Kimberley loved her family. She built a home filled with love, acceptance, and unwavering support, raising her children to be compassionate and kind-hearted. Her home was filled with "I love you’s" because Kimberley believed deeply in ensuring everyone knew they were loved and important.

She was the center of her family, managing almost every aspect of their lives. Whether she was coordinating activities, managing finances, or ensuring her children could experience the things that mattered to them, she did it all selflessly. Kimberley’s selfless love extended beyond her family, always being there for friends and offering help, even in the most challenging moments. She gave of herself authentically, showing up wholeheartedly and without a second thought.

One of her fondest memories was her family trip to London this past spring—a dream she had for years and was so thankful to be able to realize. That journey brought her happiness, planning every detail and watching her children marvel at a place she loved while enjoying time together. Those memories gave her joy in difficult times.

Kimberley’s quiet strength and dedication remain with all those who knew her, forever impacting their hearts. Kimberley will be remembered for her grace, faith, and selfless love, qualities we are endlessly grateful for and will carry forward in her memory.

Besides her loving husband and children, Kimberley is survived by her parents, Dirck and Helen Van Vliet; her brother, Christopher Van Vliet; and sister-in-law, Rachel Linn Van Vliet; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
