Carol Anne White (nee Early), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away suddenly at her home in Calgary on October 26, 2024, at the age of 81 years.

Born on June 4, 1943, in Calgary, Carol lived a life filled with family. Carol attended Western Canada High School alongside her twin sister, Betty Pearce (nee Early). Despite financial constraints, their uncle, Clayton Carroll, generously funded their business school education, enabling them to secure positions as comptometer operators at Royalite Oil in the late 1950s.

Carol's job history culminated in longtime service with the City of Calgary, where she met her loving husband of 33 years, Jack White. Carol and Jack enjoyed camping and living at “the property” near Sundre in the Alberta foothills. They also enjoyed visiting Jack's family in Scotland and England and visiting Carol’s family in British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, and Arizona. They were pleased to host Jack’s brother and his family who travelled to Calgary from Australia.

Carol is survived by her husband, Jack White, and her children, Tracy Ure (Ken), Scott Morton (Jill), Jodi Morton-Parcey (Doug), Kelly Morton (Melanie), and Katherine Morton (David). She also leaves behind three stepchildren, Jack (Suzanne), Morna, and Pamela, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Carol is also survived by her brothers, Roy (Julie) and Allan (Marsha); and her sister Michele.

Carol was predeceased by her parents, Fern and Merle Early, her sister Donna and brother-in-law Scotty, her sister Betty (Bob), and her brothers Wayne (Sol) and Dale (Audrey).

A Memorial Service will be held for Carol’s birthday on June 7, 2025, on Mount Norquay in Banff National Park. Details to follow.
