Our hearts and prayers go out to Krista and the rest of Lee's family. Our fishing buddy will be missed but we will be reminded of him whenever we fish the Elk. I will miss his laugh ever time he talked about the success of the "pink pookie" one of his favorite dry flies.

I met Lee a few years back on a fishing trip to Montana and have been "fishing buddies" ever since. I was lucky to spend quite a few days on the Elk with him; he referred to it as "his Elk" and it was clearly his happy place.
He was always a gentleman, kind and generous to me (although he would not let me drive his car no matter how often I asked!).
