Obituary of Allan James Brandon

It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband and father Allan James Brandon at the age of 82 years on Monday, October 28, 2024.
Allan was born in Estevan, SK, on January 30, 1942. Allan and his wife Anne moved to Alberta in 1964, working in the oil industry in Brooks, Drayton Valley, and then as the general manager for Mid Continent in Calgary, and later with Meridian & Wolseley, retiring in 2019. Allan loved golfing and was a member at Bearspaw Golf Club.
Allan and Anne loved Hawaii, river and ocean cruises, and over the last few years, they spent time in Palm Springs together with their daughter and son-in-law. Allan also had a great love of music. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him and loved him.
Allan is survived by his loving wife Anne of 60 years, and by his loving daughter Kim (Michael Baden), his brother Bob, sisters-in-law, Sharon and Shirley; ten nieces and nephews, seventeen great-nieces and nephews, and twelve great-great-nieces and nephews.
Allan was predeceased by his parents, James and Mavis Brandon; brother Brian, in-laws, Peter and Julia Kazuik; brothers-in-law, Mike and Steve; and his grandparents.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024, at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Cemetery (24223 Township Road 242, Calgary, AB). Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
