Obituary of Frances Marian Hunt

September 29, 1938 – Renous, New Brunswick

November 1, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frances Marian Hunt. Frances passed away Friday, November 1, 2024, at Agape Hospice in Calgary with her daughter Krista Homfeld, and lifelong friend Simone Bouchard, by her side. Her final moments were filled with grace and gratitude for the family and friends she cherished.

Frances leaves behind her daughter Krista, son-in-law Daryl, and grandchildren, Jennifer and Dawson Homfeld of Pitt Meadows, BC. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Sullivan and Patrica Richard (Joseph); niece Beth Campbell (Andrew), and nephew Stephen Richard (Carrie, Ethan, and Molly), all from New Brunswick. Frances was predeceased by her husband, Kleven (Ken) Hunt.

A special thank you to Dr. Larissa, nurse Kim, and all the other wonderful staff at Agape Hospice. We would also like to acknowledge Kristen and Malerie from the home palliative care team. We are very grateful for your care, understanding, and compassion.

Honouring Frances’s wishes, there will be no formal service, however, a Celebration of Frances’s Life will be held with her close friends and family.
