Condolences
I had the privilege of working with Peggy for over 20 years. She was a dear friend. The obituary and Brenda Jennings' comments mirror the remarkable woman that Peggy was. Warmth, kindness, generosity, integrity, and strength were her hallmarks. My sincere condolences to Mark, Darby, Amy, her family and the many who feel her loss.
All of my memories of working with Peggy were beautifully stated by Brenda Jennings. Shari and I both had the privilege of working with Peggy. Our sincere condolences to Mark and the family.
I was privileged to work alongside Peggy for many years. We started together at Bert Church High School when the school first opened and we also retired together. The memory of Peggy which comes back to me most vividly now was her practice of, when dining out, choosing her dessert first, then turning her attention to the "lesser" options. What a marvelous way to live one's life, choosing and knowing that the "best part" was out there waiting for you.
Peggy was an excellent teacher, loved by all, and a consummate organizer. Graduation ceremonies and the subsequent banquets unfolded with incredible beauty and meticulous attention to detail. She thought of everyone and thanked everyone. I like to think of Peggy in heaven, organizing everyone in to alphabetical order, and marching them through the Pearly Gates to greet Saint Peter.
Mrs. B will be very fondly remembered by all those with whom she taught and by thousands of grateful students.
My sincere condolences to her family, especially to those whom I know, Mark, Darby and Amy, but also to all the others whose lives she touched..
