I first met Barry 20 years ago working out at the gym. It was a point in time where we were both going through some challenges in life which brought us together. Our friendship evolved over time where we shared many laughters and memories. He was always there to lend an ear and provide a word of advice. I’m still in disbelief and will miss our drive home talks. My condolences to the family and may he rest in peace.
Barry was like an older brother to me. He was so strong, wise and protective. He understood my humor and we always shared fun times. To Barry, I was the crazy little sister. I'll miss him, he was so loving and accepting, I won't forget you Barry.
Barry was was one of my best friends that I've known for well over 25 plus years. Reading this obituary just doesn't seem real, I feel as though it's just a bad dream. We saw each other all the time and shared so many countless memories. My heart and soul is broken beyond belief and I just don't want to believe he's gone. I'm at a lost for words for what our friendship meant. He was like a brother that I never had, some people have such an affect on us that their memories will forever be imprinted in us. I love you and I'll forever miss you bud.
Barry was an amazing person and friend to me and many others at DataDrill for close to 20 years. Our relationship was beyond professional, and we grew to enjoy each other's company outside of the workplace. Our golf outings and other get togethers were highlights I looked forward to. There were many laughs and inside jokes that I will treasure forever. We at DataDrill were all shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. Barry will be greatly missed and we grieve with those who knew and loved him too. - Steve Knapp
