Obituary of Wendy Lynn MacQuarrie

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved sister, Wendy Lynn MacQuarrie, on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

Born on Thursday, September 3, 1959, to her parents, Louise and Arnold MacQuarrie, Wendy leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.

Growing up with three sisters, Wendy faced life’s challenges and joys with us. Everyone knew we were a team, and she often led the way in our fun and mischievous adventures. Her talent for blending essential oils, dedication to yoga and meditation, and passion for adventure travel defined her vibrant spirit and inspired many who knew her.

She cherished being an aunt to her nephews, Darcy and Chris, and embraced her role as the family historian, keeping the extended family connected. Wendy had a special place in her heart for Auntie Minnie and Auntie Helen.

She will be deeply missed by her sisters, Deb, Cindy (Larry), and Sharon (Ian). Also left to mourn her are Darcy (Amanda), Chris (Kelly), Brittany (Denim), and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Quinn, Keaton, Dominic, Soren, and Aubrey.

A celebration of Wendy’s life will be held later this summer.
