Obituary of Barbara Ann Bell

Barbara Ann Bell, beloved wife of John Bell, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the age of 77 years.

Barbara was born in Winnipeg, MB, on June 29, 1947. She accomplished much throughout her life, particularly in her dedicated career as a nurse practitioner. She will be most remembered for her compassion for others and love of nature.

Besides her loving husband, Barbara is survived by her two sons, David Shelvey (Isabelle) of Calgary, AB, and Michael Shelvey of Fort McMurray, AB, along with her precious grandson Jonathan. Barbara is also survived by her brother John Beverley (Darlene) of Winnipeg, MB, and her nephew John Jr.

Those wishing to pay their respects can join the family to celebrate Barbara’s life at Village Centre at Westman Village (166 Mahogany Centre SE, Calgary, AB, T3M 0T2) in the second floor meeting room on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
