Our family is deeply saddened to hear the news of Kim’s passing. We were neighbours of Kim and Colleen’s when they moved to Calgary and Kim quickly made a positive impact with our family by always making time for our two girls and giving them guided tours of his garden. Our lasting memory will be the pumpkins that Kim grew for them over the past couple of years, with this past Halloween having two pumpkins expertly guided through the fence to grow on our side of the yard. We will all miss our wonderful friend and neighbour and our condolences to Colleen, Martha, Phil and family.

Kim was not just a colleague but also a mentor and a trusted advisor to many of us. He was greatly respected and admired, leaving behind a legacy that will be felt for years to come. Kim often spoke of you, Colleen, Martha and Phil with a great deal of pride and affection. Kim helped many small business owners with his candid advise. He was a valued member of our mentorship group at the small business centre. He had a passion for helping young people and loved helping out with the summer company program.
