Obituary of Curtis John STILLING

Our heartbroken family sadly announces the sudden passing of our beautiful son and brother Curtis.
He was the kindest, most gentle soul a person could meet, He was born and grew up in Calgary and attended Killarney, AE Cross and graduated from Masters Academy in 2011. Curtis went on to get his 1st year electrical apprenticeship while working for Bison. He then decided to go to University of Lethbridge in Management. He loved the school and all the new friends and classmates.
Curtis played Trails West Hockey, where he won many Esso Minor Hockey Weeks, and City Championships. He also played baseball in Calgary West Little League from minors through seniors. Summers were spent out at Shuswap Lake. He loved boating, water skiing, wake boarding, swimming, and especially golfing at Salmon Arm Golf Club. Curtis also got a hole-in-one when he was golfing with all his friends ! He will be greatly missed by our dogs Prince and Princess.
Curtis is survived by parents John and Susan, brothers Mike and Brian, grandparents Ken and Shirley Gochanour, Anne Stilling, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and he was predeceased by grandpa Harry Stilling.
A Celebration of Curtis’ Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Those attending the Celebration, please wear something blue, Curt’s favorite color. Condolences may be forwarded through . In lieu of flowers, an account at TD Canada Trust, Westhills is set up. This will benefit the sports clubs Curtis played for.
