Condolences
Dear Pat and Susan, It was with great sadness that I heard of your Mother’s passing. I was your Mother’s Avon “Lady” for many years and we had a lot of laughs together solving all the City of Calgary’s problems and the world’s. I lost touch with her about four years ago. I do hope those lost years were pleasant ones for your Mom. I know she loved her garden and her dogs. You have my deepest sympathy. Take care of yourselves and may God Bless you both.

Susan and Pat, I had the pleasure of meeting your mother years ago. This was while your dad was coaching our girls’ baseball team at Bridgeland Community, bringing us to City and Provincial champions. You and your sister were very young at the time, and oh so cute. I don’t think you had even started school.
Your mother loved to attend our games, cheering us on, sometimes bringing yourselves and the dog/dogs with her. I think we used your poodle as a mascot one year. She was like a big sister to us. I remember how beautiful and graceful your mother was. My friends and I also had the pleasure of watching her skate, wishing we were all that talented. Your parents certainly maintained the community spirit and were an inspiration to many, including, trying to help us teenagers stay “grounded.” I ‘ve cherished the memories of those good old days.
Wishing you and your families peace at this very difficult time. She will always be with you.

Dear Befus Family,
I fondly remember Joy from her days at the Canadian Red Cross. What a difference she made every work day – helping to save lives. I recall her energy, friendliness and optimism with fellow staff, volunteers and donors. She was a pleasure to work with.
