Obituary of Lance Richard WIK

WIK, Lance Richard January 17, 1963 – Calgary, AB February 15, 2014 – Calgary, AB Lance Wik of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the age of 51 years at the Foothills Medical Center. Prior to his struggle with illness Lance was an accomplished mechanic who could fix and repair anything. While he enjoyed building, repairing, and fixing everything he could get his hands on his greatest accomplishment was always his three sons Tyson (Sarah), Christopher, and Kyle. He loved more than ever watching their many hockey and ball games, swim meets, basketball and volleyball games along with the occasional fishing trip. These three really were his pride and joy. Lance is survived by his former wife and friend, Leanne Wik; his mother, Sonia Wik; and his two brothers, Brian (Barb) Wik and Brent (Deb) Wik; along with numerous other loving relatives and friends. Lance was predeceased by his father Roy in September 2013.
