Obituary of Charles Chuck REYNAR

1950 – Leduc, AB 2014 – Calgary, AB Chuck Reynar, beloved husband of Lila and father of Evan David, passed away peacefully from cancer at the Rosedale Hospice on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at the age of 63 years. Chuck was born and grew up in Leduc where he developed his love of playing hockey, coaching, and outdoor sports of camping, hunting and fishing. He had a special love for Labradors which he called “Real Dogs”. His early career was spent with the Royal Bank of Canada, where he met his wife of 40 years, Lila. Later, Chuck went on to spend many years with various oil companies at several Alberta centres, most notably, Amoco, including a brief time in Oklahoma before returning to Calgary. Chuck is survived by his wife Lila; son Evan; brother Syd (Gert); sister Linda Chupka (Michael); brother Tom (Jacquie); sisters-in-law Pat Reynar, Vivian Holtby (Russell) and Darlene Tracy; along with numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Chuck was predeceased by his parents Harry and Ruth Reynar; brother Randy and brother-in-law Morris Tracy. A private service will be held.
