Obituary of Eric EMMERSON

November 26, 1923- Lethbridge, AB December 31, 2013 – Calgary, AB It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Eric Emmerson on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at the age of 90 years. He will be missed by his family and many friends. He worked for CPR for 42 years retiring in 1983. Since retiring, his hobbies have been woodworking, making numerous lawn ornaments and bird houses for family and friends. Eric was a loving and caring father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle. Eric was pre-deceased by his loving wife Hazel of 64 years and his brother Ron. Eric will be lovingly remembered by his children Ken (Marion) of Port Coquitlam, B.C. and daughter Dianne (George) Fildey of Calgary, grandchildren Brent (Tracey), Brenda (Gary), Robert, Michael, and Dwayne; great-grandchildren Brandee, Ashley, Trent, Devin, Samantha, Crystal, Phillip, Jordan and Matthew, all of Calgary; brother-in-law Roy (Helen), sisters-in-law Dorothy and Mercedes; as well as many nieces and nephews.
