We were so saddened to hear of Howie’s passing. I(Carol) worked with Howie so many years ago at TD Chinook. He was such a kind person and was such fun. Our son, Jeff, then asked Howie to act as his realtor when he purchased his first home in Okotoks. He also thought Howie was such a fine person and really enjoyed his company. Howie continued to drop his realtor memo pads in our mailbox for many years, and, although we didn’t often see him we still felt a connection with him. He will be missed.
We all send our condolences to you and your family at this sad time.

I was saddened to learn of Howie’s passing. Both Merv McIntosh and Mike Woolnough advised me.
While we were both long time TD we never worked in the same branch. However the hilight each year was our golfing trip to Jasper. We used to take $2 per pay to pay for the trip. He often won some of the small wagers.
Denise and I send our sincere sympathy.

Dear Jeannette and family,,this is such a very sad time for all of you. Howie was special to so many of us.I have lots of wonderful memories of the times we spent together both in Calgary and B.C. Remember every Sat in the back of the shoe store, our fun visit to the cottage on the little island and our very funny story of the bathroom light episode. Hold on to all the love and good times you had. Time will make it easier for you and now Howie is no longer in pain. The love of family and friends will see you thru this difficult time. Take care and know you are in all our thoughts. Love Connie

I was so sorry to hear of Howie’s passing.
I met him in the late 50’s while living in Killam.
We kept up an off and on relationship in Edmonton and Calgary.
Howie really loved golfing and was really good., at least compared to me, and Todd Fossen
who often joined us. The three of us had many great times.
Howie was a great guy we had many conversations about a number of topics and his family was always one of those topic, He was very proud of his family.
My best wishes for you and the family during this difficult time.
I my sorry that my health will keep me from attending Howie’s service.
Sincere sympathies – my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family
We were neighbours at Redwood Meadows, in 1982. Martin and I have fond memories of our friends the Homan’s, they were fun to be with and very good to our little ones,
We pray for the comfort of all the Homan’s. Our most sincere sympathy.

Dear Jeanette and family,
Our love and thoughts are with you during this time of sadness. Our prayers
have been with you and Howie for the past while and we pray that you will
hold onto the love and strength of those around you to get thru this difficult
time. We are happy that Howie is no longer in pain, but so so sad that he is
no longer present with us here. His presence has been felt for years.. his love,
the twinkling in his eyes when he laughed.. SO many fond memories. We KNOW
he and Dad will have lots of catching up to do.. and he will be surrounded by
family that loves him. We pray for you peace, in finding comfort over time.
Howie will be watching down on all of you. Lots of love, Cathy and Mike xoxoxo
