Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this most difficult time. We will miss seeing Shin at the cabin in the summer. Take care of yourselves.
I am sorry for your loss Carol and my deepest sympathies. It is a personal loss to me as Shin was my best friend since we first met in high school in 1954. I will always remember his willing smile and shall cherish his friendship the rest of my days.
Our love will always go out to you.
Bill and Trudy
Carol and Family,
Shin was a formidable fisherman and I am certain he applied himself equally in all realms of his life. He will be missed for sure but take stock in the great legacy of his life.
Take care and our thoughts are with you and the family at this time.
The Schultz Family
We will always remember the great time we had with you in Vancouver, playing bridge, and picnicking on the lawns.
We are very sorry for your loss.
Carol,
Susan and I are so sorry to hear of Shin’s passing. I only met him the once, at the reunion, but managed to have a very interesting conversation with him regarding our common abiding passion – fishing.
Please accept our heartfelt condolences at you loss.

Sorry for your loss..Shin was the most honorable gentleman, that i was happy to know.We spent time together,at the club.Which is where i met him.He invited me on many an excursion,to the cabin. We cast a few lines, told a few lies. But all & all it was the time spent. He taught me how to play crib.I didn’t have the stamina or the passion for the game. His laughter, his smile will be remembered.Calm waters, tight lines.Save me a spot along your travels…Brian
Any man who could have such wonderful daughters is a good man indeed. Thinking of your family and how much Cathy in particular meant to me when she was in grade nine. I will not forget her kindnesses and know she learned that from her parents. I feel badly for your loss. Peggy
Lynn, I am sorry to learn of your father’s passing. You and your sisters are living proof of what a fine man he was. I wish to offer my condolences to your family. My heart bleeds for you at this hour.

Carol and Family,
Sorry to hear about Shin, Rod Phipps called to let us know. It is always difficult at times like this, I don’t know if you knew but we lost Leah over 4 years ago and it really hurts when you loose a child also. Shin was such a good guy to work for and became more than a boss with me. Remember when you and Iva were expecting at the same time? We hope you keep strong and you have your daughters to be close with you for support. Rest in Peace Shin.
Iva & Ken
Shin was an amazing man, so kind and gentle, always a smile on his face. My Dad (Eric McDougall) and Shin were the greatest of friends and fabulous fishing buddies. Shin knew that a poor day fishing was better than a good day at work. I am certain he could tell the odd “fishing fable”, he may have even fished according to the solnar table. May the fond memories we all have keep in him close. Hugs to all of you! He will be missed by all who knew him. Thanks for sharing him with us!
We are sorry for your loss. Our deepest sympathies to you and your daughters. We will be thinking of you this Friday with much love.
