Obituary of Doreen GILL

GILL, Doreen Doreen Gill passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at the age of 88, with Vic, Lorraine and Darren by her side. Doreen was born in Tynside, England and immigrated to Canada in 1951 with her husband Ernie and infant son Vic. Shortly after arriving in Toronto, her daughter Lorraine was born. With the completion of their family, they resided in Don Mills, Ontario until moving to Calgary in 1988. She continued to enjoy life in Calgary with many summer trips to Mara Lake to spend time with Vic and Lorraine and their families. Many happy moments and good laughs were shared by all. For a few years, Doreen enjoyed her trips to Las Vegas and the surrounding areas with Ernie. Doreen was predeceased by Ernie on July 1, 2012 and is survived by son Vic Gill (Mandy); daughter Lorraine Wilson (John); grandchildren, Tyler Wilson, Casey Weller (Kerby), Cory Wilson, Briar Gill and Darren Gill; and great-grandchildren Rylan, Carson, Claire and Molly Weller.
