Obituary of Gladys Julia LANE

August 25, 1913 – Birtle, MB July 24, 2013 – Calgary, AB Gladys Lane of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the age of 99 years. Gladys is survived by her children Frank Lane (Angela) and Lesley Fenton (Norman); sister Joyce Frame; brothers Crom Smith (Wilma) and Barry Smith (Belle); grandsons Alexander Lane (Karen McNeil), Kristjan Stephansson (Rebecca Ross), Matthew Stephansson (Gabrielle Werner-Stephansson), and Jonathan Lane Stephansson; and by great-grandson Che Stephansson. She was predeceased by her husband Fred Lane in 1996; brother Bert in 1944; sisters Norine in 2004 and Joan in March of 2013. A Memorial Service will be held at Knox United Church (506 – 4th Street S.W.) on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at 12:15 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through .
