I was saddened to hear of your loss today while reading the alumni news of Madison High School, where Darlene was a cheerleader. I graduated 2 years before Darlene, but she made such a favorable impression on everyone even in the classes above her. She was a great role model with her positive and caring attitude. Darlene was a friend and will be missed by many in the Madison Mn community.

It was with great sadness that we learned that Darlene had passed away. She fought her battle against cancer relentlessly and with courage. She was a dear and loyal friend who brought a brightness into the lives of everyone who knew her.
