Obituary of Cecil Curtis FALKENBERG

FALKENBERG, Cecil Curtis 1936 – Olds, Alberta 2013 – Calgary, Alberta Cecil Falkenberg, beloved husband of Petria Falkenberg of Oliver, BC, formerly of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at the age of 76 years. Cecil was born in Olds and raised in Fredricksheim, AB. He married Petria McCollum on March 12, 1963 in Kenai, Alaska, and celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary this past March. While residing in Calgary, they lived in Lakeview for twenty years. Cecil was employed most of his life in oil field related trucking. Cecil will be remembered for his sense of humour, his love of woodwork and working on vehicles. Cecil is survived by his loving wife Petria; son and daughter-in-law Shane and Denise; three grandchildren, Curtis, Mitchell (Stephanie) and Kourtney; brother Eugene (Margaret); two sisters, Merilynn (George) Clarke and Deborah Booth; and also numerous nieces and nephews.
