Although I did not get to know Kelly as personally as many of the MDH staff, I was always struck by her warm smile, politeness and kind personality whenever she came to the office. Having a 16 yr. old son, I can only imagine the pain you must be feeling to lose your daughter at such a young age. I am so sorry for your loss and that I was unable to attend the funeral. Our family (including our son Matthew) send our condolences to your family. May the many memories of your sweet girl bring you comfort in the days/years to come.

This is Cecile Pham, I was Kelly’s Grade 6 teacher at St. Sylvester School.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your beloved Kelly. Kelly was the kind of student that I could never forget: not only was she fun-loving, hardworking, intelligent and beautiful, she possessed a mixture of talents that I had never seen before. I still remember being so awed by her bracelet-making skill that I bought 10 custom-made special bracelets from Kelly. They were very beautiful and I was so proud to tell the recipients that my student Kelly made them!

Kelly and her bestie Kristen came to visit me several times at St Sylvester during their 7th grade, and we had nice long chats about life. I shall never forget Kelly’s laughter and light-heartedness. I will miss your beautiful girl, but I know that she is well taken care of by Her Creator, who loves her beyond measure. Thank you for bringing Kelly into the world, her soul shall live forever.
