Obituary of David PAULGAARD

1945 – Camrose, AB 2013 – Calgary, AB David, beloved husband of Shauna Paulgaard (nee Slavik) of Calgary, AB, passed away on May 21, 2013 from brain cancer at the age of 68 years. David was born the youngest of three boys to Ragnhild and Paul on March 29, 1945. He attended SAIT and graduated with Hotel and Business Administration, later moving on to a successful career in hotel management with his most notable position being the part Owner and General Manager for the Crowchild Inn. To his family he was known to have a strong work ethic, and even stronger opinion, and a true love and passion for travel; particularly if it involved walking. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him. David is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Shauna; his three children Gregory (Jacqueline), Janette (Kenneth) Kim and Jeffrey (Chantel); his beloved grandchildren Julia, Joel, Elijah, Owen, Abigail, Joshua and Lucas; and his brother Lars Otto. David was predeceased by his parents Ragnhild and Paul Paulgaard; and his brother Robert.
