Pete Van Wiebe passed away suddenly in his home on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at the age of 58 years.
He was born at the Calgary General Hospital on December 16, 1954, then taken home to Saskatchewan by his loving parents Mae and Harold Van Wiebe. He moved to Calgary when he was eight years old and has lived in the area since.
Pete is survived by his wife Brenda; two daughters Amber Fawcett (Andy) and Laura-Jane (L.J.) Harvey; two step-daughters Amber Brown (Dave) and Brittany Wyse; two grandchildren Peyton and Waylon Harvey; Uncle Bob and Auntie Deb of New Brunswick; and Auntie Maureen of Saskatchewan; as well as numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold Van Wiebe in 2004 and Mae Van Wiebe in 2008; and his grandson Brody Fawcett in 2012.
A Celebration of Peter’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
