Obituary of Joyce Madeline HENDRY

1920 – London, England 2013 – Calgary, Alberta It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce Madeline Hendry on May 13, 2013 at the age of 93 years. Joyce was a wonderful, loving, caring wife, mom, grandma, great grandma, and the best homemaker ever, who will be dearly missed by us all. Joyce was born in Woodgreen, London, England. She was a war bride, and immigatred to Calgary with her husband and small son over sixty years ago. Joyce has always called Calgary her home. Joyce leaves to mourn her beloved husband of 72 years, Tony; son Alan (Carol); daughter Karen (Neil); grandchildren Leah, Travis, Kelly, Drew, Tara and four great grandchildren. To respect Joyce’s wishes, there will be no funeral. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Brentwood Care Centre for their loving care of Joyce over the past three years, especially during her final days.
