Obituary of Mary Bella BROWN

1912 – Forress, Scotland 2013 – Calgary, Alberta Mary, beloved wife of the late George Henry Brown, passed away on May 13, 2013 at the age of 100 years. Born on December 8, 1912 in Forress, Scotland, Mary immigrated to Alberta with her family in 1926. In 1938 Mary and George began a beautiful life together farming in the Madden area of Alberta. Moving to Calgary in 1972, they began a new chapter in their lives surrounded by family and friends. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her four children Joyce (Bob) Hipkin, Roy (Bernice) Brown, Ron (Rose) Brown and Judy (Jack) Mace; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband George in September of 1992; her brother Roy; her sisters Daisy and Janet; and sister-in-law Anne. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Tuesday, May 21 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
