Condolences
So sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts are with you all.
Love, Maggie Jacobsen
Svend’s passing is a great loss, he was always in my thoughts. The memories of our families together at Christmas, I will carry with me always!
To Jan and Family,
I have never had the pleasure of meeting you Jan, however, as I child I knew your parents both very well and have many fond memories of them. My grandparents, Anne and Henry Nielsen had a close relationship with them. I spent most of my childhood summers in Chilliwack and thought of both Mr. and Mrs. Rasmussen almost as a second set of Grandparents. We spent many days at Cultus Lake with Chris and my Grandad teaching me to swim, as well as evenings having coffee and danishes at the park they lived at in Chilliwack, with Svend smoking his pipe on the porch. I was unable to send my condolences when Chris passed, as I didnt hear until several months later; so please allow me the opportunity to send them now as well. I have always thought of them as an admorable couple. Always holding hands, so loving, and wonderful role models. Though it has been several years, I will always have wonderful memories.
My sincerest sympathies, Sarah (Nielsen) Hesch
Jan, sorry to hear about your Father passing away. Our prayers go out to you and all your family.
Your desert friends, Duane and Ivona
