Obituary of Lynne Ellen SEMENCHUK
1954 – 2013
Lynne Semenchuk was born and raised in Saskatoon. After graduating from the College of Commerce she moved to Calgary to begin her professional career. She married Don, her best friend and soulmate. They enjoyed the rewards and challenges of raising three wonderful sons.
Lynne was always very active in community and sporting activities. She truly loved to be around people and was sincerely interested in their lives. Her network of family and friends provided her with much positive energy during her life.
Lynne passed away after a long battle with cancer. She was greatly admired and respected by those around her for her positive attitude and determination to enjoy life. She would brighten a room with her laugh and brought joy to many.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband Don; sons Chad, Ryan (Liz) and Layne; Mother-in-law Nettie Semenchuk; sisters and brothers Pam van Vugt, Larry Thorburn (Ellen Owens), Gerry (Diana) Semenchuk, Marlene Semenchuk (Larry Krulak), Joan Matthews (Mikel); and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
