Obituary of Donald Andrew NICHOLSON

NICHOLSON, Donald Andrew March 1, 1988 – January 25, 2013 Donnie Nicholson beloved son of Nick and Jo’Ann of Barriere, B.C. passed away tragically on Friday, January 25, 2013 at the age of 24 years. Donnie was born in McBride, B.C. and relocated with his family to Barriere where he was raised with his sister. Donnie was a straight A student in highschool finishing a year ahead of schedule. After highschool he went to college to get his Red Seal ticket as a Journeynman plumber. After a few years working as a plumber Donnie went to Alberta to work as a pipe fitter and started D-Nix Contracting Ltd. In addition to Donnie’s passion for his company he was accomplished guitar player, drummer and artist with many talents. Donnie is survived by his parents Don Nicholson and Jo’Ann Kivari; sister and brother-in-law Lindsay Nicholson and Henry Dragojevich of Fort St. John, B.C.; neice and nephew Farrah and Jaxon Dragojevich also of Fort St. John, B.C.; as well a large extended family and numerous friends who are now left to cherish the memory of this bright, talented young man who had a heart of gold. The family would like to honor and give a special thanks to all the amazing people who stepped forward during this difficult time helping our family cope with the loss of Donnie and the huge impact it has left. Services will be held at a later date in Barriere, B.C. Condolences may be forwarded through .
