Aunt Shirley may you rest in the peace you so desired……To all the family take care and remember the good times that you had together as a family.
We are so sorry for your Loss to all the Bennett family. May Shirley rest in peace until we meet her again. God Bless to all.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Shirley’s daughters, son, grandchildren, her brother and her sisters. We are sorry that we could not attend the service for Shirley today October 24, 2012. The passing of loved one is truly sad event but it is also a time when the torch is passed to the next generation. Shirley did her time here – may she now rest in peace. God Bless
So sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing. We all have the memories of staying with Grandma and Grandpa and our time with Shirley and the other “aunts and uncles” who were our age. I know she cared for her family well and life was not easy. God Bless you all as I am unable to attend the service.

Dear Colleen, my deepest condolences on your mom’s passing. Shirley was warm, loving, giving person. I remember her laughter as we worked side by side. Her kindness, friendship and caring nature will forever be implanted in my heart. God has called her home to rest, we must allow her to rest in peace; Now we will keep her fondest memories in our hearts. May god continue to bless you Colleen and your family and may your mom, my dear friend Shirley Bennett rest in peace.
Mom this is Rod you were the best mom anyone could ever hope for. I am sorry for being difficult when i should have been more helpful and thankful.Mom you were my strength when everyone gave up on me, you and dad nursed me back to health and gave me my independence regardless of my handicap’s. Given the chance i wish i could have our last day together back i would tell you a million times over just how much i appreciate everything you have done for me and just how important and loved you are. Home is so lonely now our cats “Murphy, Kiki, and your sidekick “Billy” are all lost without you. Mom please don’t worry Colleen and i will work together and make it work. Give Dad and Donnie a big hug from me. Your memory is as BEAUTIFUL as you were in person and i was very lucky to have had such a special mom now i feel even luckier having such a special Angel watching over me. God Bless You and Rest in Peace.
Colleen and family,
My deepest sympathies to you and your family. I know you loved your mom dearly and I’m sure she knew that from all the stories you shared with me. If there is anything I can do for you Colleen, you know how to reach me. Big hugs friend,
Rose
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all as you celebrate the life of Auntie Shirley.
Your dedication as her precious daughter, Colleen is so heartfelt!
Prayers for peace and strength for you and all the other loved ones left behind.
May she rest in perfect peace!
Our thoughts are with you all.
Rest in peace Shirley.
I only had the privilege of meeting Shirley a few times but she welcomed me warmly into her life simply because I was a friend of Colleen’s. I know she was a loving woman, devoted to her family at all times even if it was to her detriment. Colleen, you never have to worry if your mom was proud of you. It was plain to anyone that her pride radiated from her eyes and face every time she looked at you. Know she loved you and your family unconditionally! Your “rock” might be physically gone, but know that she is always with you and the strength you think she gave you was within you all along. She was just the mirror that reflected it back to you!! All my love and condolences are with you, Kelsey, Donnie, Zach, Brodie and Ben.
My sympathy to the family. May you find strength in those that share your sorrow.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this terrible time. Your mom is still watching over you from above, remember all of the memories that you had with her. If there is anything we can do please let us know.
Rest in peace Grandma. You will be greatly missed by your grandchildren. I remember when I was young I loved going to your house because you always let us bake with you. My memories of you while I was growing up will be greatly treasured.
My heart goes out to my Mom Cindy who loved her Mother with all her heart. Mom, I know she is smiling down at you with thanks, for all that you have done for her. Stay strong, Grandma is with you, an angel above.
Say hi to Grandpa for me.
Love Kristina
Grandma,
You will be deeply missed! You touched the hearts of so many. All of my memories I have will be treasured. The one I hold on to is when we were all having dinner at your house and it was Chinese food and the won ton soup I coughed out to be a brain, man I had everyone laughing. Going to grandmas was always a blast. My heart goes out to the entire family, I know my mom (Cindy) loved you so very much and misses you every second every day, but she has gained another angel watching down on her. We all love you and miss you but we’re happy to know you are back with grandpa!
Rest in peace
With love, your grand daughter Steph, And great grand son Jaxton xoxo
Even though we have always lived far apart and I did not get to see Aunt Shirley very often, I remember her quiet ways and helpful manner. I believe her last visit here to see my Mom ( her sister Ruth ) was in 2001. I have some wonderful pictures of the four sisters ( Mom, Shirley, Edna and Dorothy) laughing and enjoying being together. We sadly lost Mom in May of this year so I am accutely aware of the pain that all of my cousins and their children and grandchildren are going through at this very sad time. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Stay strong and remember your Mom in happy times. She will be in your hearts forever.
Love Deb
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Bennett family- Shirley will be sadly missed. Best wishes always.

I miss you terrible mom. I know your finally at peace away from all the drama and judgement of other’s. Mom you have earned your Angel wings. I hope you are proud of your *Pokey*. I love and miss you forever and always.
Colleen Bennett.
I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was a kind hearted lady who treated my kids very well when she visited you. I can only express how much we feel your pain. Please read the poem we have picked our for you, and just remember the good times.
Poem!
If Roses Grow In Heaven
Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother’s arms
And tell her they’re from me.
Tell her that I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there’s an ache within my heart
that will never go away.
Colleen your mom is an angel watching over you and your family.
Life is so tender so fragile so very precious. Life is like a journey, it might be a long one or it might be a short one but it always has a beginning and an end.The best we can do is love each other along the way. When it comes to rest, though, the journey changes and that is the most beautiful journey of all because Jesus promised that God has a mansion with many rooms waiting for us all (John 14:14) Till we meet again Mom I love you forever and always your daughter Cynthia.
To My Family – May God’s love heal your sorrow. May the prayers of friends and family ease the hurting and May God’s peace replace your heartache with warm and loving memories of “Mom” “Grandma” “Friend” .
IM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AT THIS DIFFICULT TIME.IF THERE IS ANYTHING I CAN DO FOR YOUR FAMILY PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
