Condolences
Dear Pam and Jan. It’s been a long time, but I wanted to let you know that I’m thinking of you. Auntie Lena still inspires me today and many of the “domestic” skills I have are thanks to her. I’m so thankful for your mom’s presence in my mom’s life and the difference Auntie Lena made in our family. I know my life would not have turned out the same without Auntie Lena. Part of who I am today is because Auntie Lena chose to be faithful with what was put in front of her. And for that I am so thankful. Praying for you all. Loraleigh
So very sorry to hear of Lenas passing. She was such a sweet , caring and Godly woman. And I know is now rejoicing with our Lord.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.

Dear ones,
Ches and Lena and you all have meant so much to the Warden clan from the time that Ches was Best Man at my Lena and my wedding way back in 1948.
I used to kid him that he just wanted to copy me by marrying a girl of the same name as I had married. God blessed our choices so signally!
With love and prayers,
Bert Warden
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all as you go through this valley of sorrow. But remembering that your mom is now in the sunshine and joined with your dad provides great comfort. And best of all, knowing that this separation is only temporary brings joy even in days of bereavement.
Dear Jan, Rod and Pam and the host of grandkids and greatgrandkids:
my concept of Heaven is that Lena is more alive than she has ever been and enjoying a communion with God that we can’t know this side of eternity. Her non-material inheritance in my and Lynn’s life was significant because of her life of joyful serving. We won’t be able to be at the funeral in Calgary because I have responsibilities with the Will Graham Festival at SikSika Nation and Lynn is in Abbotsford this week. Our prayers are with you though as you grieve.

Our thoughts and prayers are with ALL your family–every generation! Bask in the joy of remembering a life lived to the honor of our Lord! What a privilege and blessing! Cry for the sadness you feel for the temporal loss on this earth! Hope for the future of when you will be reunited! Hope for the realization of the lasting legacy she leaves with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Love you. Brian and Melody Kilbank
My sincerest condolences on the passing of your sweet Mom. May our Lord give you comfort and peace as you walk this journey today and in the days to come. Pam, I know how much you adored your Mom and I thank you for allowing us to experience “Nano” through your beautifully written obituary as well as all the blog posts. She truly was a woman after God’s own heart and she lived her life as a wonderful example to you, Jan, Rod and all the grandchildren. What a gift she was to you and I know you feel so blessed to call her Mom. I am with you and I hope you know that I send all my warm hugs to you today. With love, Linda Armbruster
Our thoughts and prayers are with All of you on the passing of your sweet Mom. She was much loved by all. She was an amazing Mom as I learned through your blog Pam and your love and care and pictures of her, Jan. Nano as you all fondly referred to her leaves a wonderful legacy for all of you. May you treasure the lovely memories you all have. She is now in her forever home, safe in the arms of Jesus. Love and hugs, Sandi & Art
