Condolences
Dear Earl and family,
Chuck and I are very saddened to hear of Sharon’s passing. She was a beautiful person both inside and out. I have fond memories of working with and becoming friends with Sharon for several years at the National Parole Board. Earl, I remember the four of us had fun times together. Sharon was a bright and shining star to her family and to those of us who knew her. The world is a little dimmer without her. Our deepest condolences to you, her family.
So sorry to hear about Sharon. I have a card and would need your mailing address, Earl. Will wait to hear from you.
My condolences to the Drinkle family. Sharon was a very kind soul who I first met at St Herman’s Church in Edmonton. Hope that you can keep her memories close to your heart.
With love in Christ, Kim Cochrane
May her memory be eternal!
Dear Earl,
You, Sharon and your whole precious family have been in our prayers daily for weeks and weeks. Now Sharon is at peace and we pray that you will all continue to share the memorable, delightful moments of days gone by with one another. Memory Eternal!
Sending blessings and much love along with the prayers,
From us both,
Job and Marina
Mr. Drinkle (I still have to call you that!) Amy and my dear friend Denise,
Your Mom was such a wonderful lady. I have great memories of her chatting with us as teenagers. She especially gave us such great advice just as we would be about to leave for the evening to have fun. She would remind us about staying safe and always being careful. (her work was always in the back of her mind when talking to us!) I love that she cared so much about “where” we were at and “with whom” we were hanging out with! She was such a warm and caring Mom and I will hold those memories close to me forever. Take care and know that I am thinking of you.
Kathy
To Earl, Denise and Amy,
Our deepest sympathy to you. This probably is one of the hardest days of your life and our thoughts and prayers are with you. Sharon was a real lady and we are so sorry to hear of her passing.
I am at a loss for words right now as you know Denise. I lost a very dear friend who touched my heart more than words can ever say. I will remember you my dear friend Sharon with a smile on my face and lots of laughter that was a daily occurence when we worked side by side for many years. We shared all the fun memories of raising our children and had many laughs along the way. You see you were never allowed to have but a smile on your face at all times. The most funniest memory I have of Sharon is when we first started working at the Board many many years ago and at that time we were both handed a binder and said there you go!! I can remember we both looked at each other and tried very hard to present ourselves as professional but as soon as the Managers turned around we actually lost it to the point we were crying laughing and we just could not stop the more we looked at each other the harder we laughed and I can remember a meeting going on not to far from us and for some strange reason someone got up and shut the door and again we looked at each other and started all over again, we were convinced we were going to lose our jobs, well we didnt! and that was the start of a wonderful friendship (even though at the time we had no clue as to what we were doing) Over the years of working beside each other I have to say I would look so forward to hearing Sharon come back from lunch pretty well every day the door would open I would see her walk by and I would laugh and say THE GAP AGAIN!!!! she would giggle and respond Yep and giggle (oh I would just love to hear that giggle) and of course it was always something for the girls and later on it would be for her pride and joy at the time Aspen! Her family was the joy of her life and well for Earl I just cant find the words to explain the love the two of them had for each other. certainly one of a kind. So I will always remember you Sharon with tears of joy and laughter rather than tears of sadness because that is what you would want for everyone who loved you. So I thank you my friend for your kindness, your wonderful heart, your laugher, your giggle and that beautiful beautiful smile and that tiny bit of devilness !!!! Till we meet again to laugh and laugh you will always have a very special place in my heart!!Love you!!! I send my many hugs to you Denise, Amy. your beautiful family and to you Earl just a great big hug my friend. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Earl and family – so sorry to hear of Sharon’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sharon was my favourite cousin, we were closest in age and grew up to be great friends. She was perfect, beautiful, classy, elegant, intelligent, hardworking and determined. She loved her family so much and they loved her, what a lovely family. I’m so glad they were together these last difficult months and that she had her faith. When Denise said her last words were “I’m so happy” I thought that’s so Sharon, she’s already seeing her Dad in heaven. Richard and I love you and will miss you.
Earl & family,
My deepest condolences to you upon the passing of Sharon. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

Dear Earl, Denise and Amy
I am so sorry to hear of Sharon’s passing. What a wonderful lady, wife and mother and grandmother she was. Sharon was a beautiful spirit and brought so much joy into peoples lives. May the spirit of her live on in your lives and shine forth as you venture through your grief. She leaves a wonderful legacy for you to carry on. The memories will sustain you and the support and love of your friends and family will help. It is important to be kind to and gentle with yourselves now and the days ahead. Time will soften the pain of your grief. Can just see Sharon and John now together creating quite a reunion in heaven! May you feel the love surrounding you and you are in my thoughts and prayers. Gentle hugs to all of you. My deepest condolences to all. Love Gail

Dear Earl, Denise, Amy and your families. We are saddened by the news of Sharon’s passing. We have wonderful memories of our times with you Earl and Sharon before your move to Edmonton and then to Calgary. Sharon was the most thoughtful, caring and kind woman we have ever met, she truly is an angel and we hope that you are comforted by knowing that she is with her Lord and watching down over you and your families. She always spoke so fondly of her family and she was very proud of her children and grandchildren. I will place an angel in my flower garden in her memory in the home that we bought from you, a place that gave her much joy with her family.
With heartfelt sympathy to Earl and Family. We were so sorry to hear of Sharon’s passing. Sharon was truly a joy to know and work with. A fond recollection is attendance at the tea, craft and bake sales at Holy Resurrection where we were always made to feel so welcome by Sharon and Earl. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Denise and family-
So sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. We are thinking of you during this difficult time.

I worked with Sharon for over 13 years at the National Parole Board of Canada. She was my colleague and friend. I would describe Sharon as a very classy, smart woman with a heart of gold and an amazing sense of humor and fun. She was incredibly proud of her family and had an unwavering faith in Her Lord. I am so sad for you, her family, that you did not have more time with this amazing woman, however she certainly made an indelible mark in her 62 years. Murray joins me in sending our sincere sympathies to you Earl, your girls and their families. May it help to know that we love and care for you all.
We were so sorry to hear of Sharon’s passing. There was never a kinder or gentler soul and she will definitely be missed by everyone who’s lives she touched. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Sending our deepest sympathy and condolences to Earl, Amy, Denise and families. Had heard that Sharon was once again battling cancer and then shocked and so saddened of the news that Sharon lost her battle. Sharon and I worked together for many years at the Parole Board in Saskatoon. We were Hearing Officers together. She’ll be remembered for her gentleness, kindness and sincere friendship. Keep all the wonderful memories close to your hearts. From Christine and Len Kowalchuk, Saskatoon
