Condolences
Dear Felice, Martin and Jamie,
I’m so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. I hope you all are holding up alright and taking care of each other. Take care of each other.
Bill was a good friend of mine and fellow hiker, whom I came to know the Second Sixties Club in the early years of this century. Noel Owens a long-time friend of Bill fellow World War II veteran, introduced me to Bill. Both Noel and I always enjoyed Bill’s company, and especially his original views on the world and national political affairs and developments. He will be missed.
Dear Felice, Jamie and Martin,
I just found out today at Mass that Bill had passed away. I am very sorry for your loss and pray that God will give you strength and comfort. I will miss Bill and his cheerfulness.
When we think of Mr. Carpenter we instantly see a warm smile. He was such a kind and welcoming man. He always had a story or two to share and was very interested in listening to whatever story you may be able to give him. Thank you for the inspiration to live a full and enriched life.
My condolences to you Felice and to Martin and Jamie, your sons, at the passing of Bill.
He was a source of many interesting stories relating to his world travels. His goodness, laughter and humour will be remembered by
all your friends
My Father was a “man for all seasons”, great sense of humor and a caring individual. Always well informed with no lack of an opinion he was an engaged “life time learner”. He has left a strong legacy and lessons for our family. Here’s a toast to our Dad !
