I’m so sorry to learn of Colin’s passing.
He was a bright light and a troubled soul.
Be at peace, Colin. ♥️
I had the privilege of serving with Colin at The Mustard Seed. He was always kind, warm and funny. I looked forward to the times we would serve together and enjoyed his friendship. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. The Gutor family will be in my prayers in the months ahead as you learn to adjust to the loss of this vibrant life.

I was so saddened to hear about Colin’s passing. He was a wonderful friend. I’ll always remember that wicked grin and cheeky sense of humor. He fought valiantly over the years and I was so sad to hear he lost his battle. I can’t imagine how his family is feeling right now. Please know he was a kind and caring soul who was a friend to many. Love to you my friend ❤️

So sad and sorry to hear the passing of Colin. Thinking of you at this difficult time and express our deepest sympathy.
Colin and my son Kelly were buds starting at St. Augustine School and through Miller High School. During those years, they enjoyed and had fun experiencing new adventures on our farm and in the city.
After the loss of Kelly in 1990, Colin's kindness and caring nature continued in keeping in touch with our family. He would call from Calgary or would always visit us when in Regina. We would share and he would tell us stories about himself and Kelly. It was so soothing and therapeutic for him and for us as well.
Our family will always remember Colin for all he did and he will always be in our hearts and prayers.

Dear Gutor Family,
Colin was a great friend and teammate to me in high school. He and I had a pregame ritual that involved sharing our trials and tribulations - essentially baring our souls to one another - over a cup of coffee. We'd end our mutual introspective conversations by realizing that THIS, the stuff we just talked about, was what was important. Football is just a game we play for fun, so why not go out on the field and leave it all out there with no regrets about having let-up, or complaining that you were tired. Whistle to whistle you're all-in. Colin and I had a few UoR courses together after high school, then he moved and we lost touch...that is my only regret about having known Colin - that we lost touch, and now he is gone. Colin - I hope you've found peace. Gutor family - you have my compassion and my prayers; may your grief be both robust and fleeting. Godspeed.
Dear Gutor family,
I hope, in whatever way - big or small, it brings you a sliver of peace and light to know that Colin has left a lasting impression on this old friend from Miller High (and so many others I’m sure). I will keep him and you in my heart during this difficult season of life.

My deepest condolences on your loss. I was so saddened to hear of Colin's sudden passing. I went to Millar High School with Colin and he was always smiling, making jokes and bringing joy to all. I met up with him about 2 years ago in Calgary for dinner and we had a great evening reminiscing and sharing our current lives and catching up. I know he had some struggles but don't we all... Colin was a kind , caring, genuine human being whom will be greatly missed and never forgotten. He impacted more than he knew.

Very saddened to hear of the loss of my high school friend Colin. So many great stories and memories we shared in high school. His contagious laugh and big bright smile will never be forgotten. A great Nephew who leaves me with so many great memories
My condolences go out to the Gutor family.
Colin, thank you for being my light of inspiration and comfort through some of my darkest tribulations. To me you represent a pillar of strength, ambition, courage, and resilience. A leader, an inspiration, and a role model with a heart and soul filled with pure gold. Articulate, intelligent, outgoing, witty, funny, charming, spiritual ... and in summary, a true gem and in my eyes pretty near perfect. Your parents raised a wonderful son. I feel blessed and honoured that you let me be a part of your life. I will miss you forever.
Love,
Lorie Mathieson
