Condolences
Brenda, Jennifer, Chris and the Grandchildren, our most heartfelt condolences on your sudden loss. Your words captured the RF we knew and loved as a very dear friend. Thank you. The photo reminds us of his enigmatic smile and behind the shades, that twinkle in his eye.
Yes, all of those who had the privilege of being his friend will sorely miss him. We have known Robin for over forty years and never saw him lose his cool, even on those rare occasions when his dart would just miss the double twenty at the Crowchild Inn; when his final curling rock would sail through the house at the Winter Club; nor when that winning putt would lip out of the hole. We shared many Stampede parties with you, many Saturday mornings at the Winter Club and of course a number of golf events, including the AREFO Open in Whitefish, Montana and the Country Hills Group outings to the Columbia Valley in BC.
As another late friend was wont to say, "RF is a trained economist, you know!". We will dearly miss his sage advice, his interesting political commentaries and most of all his companionship. Our lunch meetings will not be the same without him. Rest in peace, dear friend!
Robert, Susan and Family
Dear Brenda and family. Rosalyn and I express our sincere condolences. Brenda you and Robin have been great friends whether it be sharing meals, sharing garden secrets, joining in our annual golf game, and being at each other's parties. Robin and i played many golf games together and went on several golf trips. The last while we met for lunches to discuss and solve all the world's ills. Robin was always the gentleman and a kind and sharing friend. Rosalyn and I will greatly miss Robin; however, we will keep you, Brenda, and family in our prayers.

Dear Brenda, Jennifer, Chris and the rest of your family,
I was so sorry to read today of Robin's unexpected passing. I will remember him as a kind, funny, outgoing and very personable guy, and I know he will be terribly missed by all of you. I enjoyed reading the very nice obituary, it reminded me of his many qualities, and speaks to the full and loving life he lived. My sincere condolences to you all.
