Obituary of Grace Tiffany Brown
October 7, 1969 – Winnipeg, Manitoba
October 29, 2023 – Calgary, Alberta
On October 29th, 2023, the world lost one of its brightest lights with the unexpected passing of Grace Tiffany Brown at the young age of 54. It is impossible to put into words what she meant to everyone who knew her; she had a profound impact on the world with her gratitude and positivity that reached too many lives to ever count. Gracie was a loving mother to her daughter Bailey (Matt), and son Jordan. She also leaves behind her beloved brother Mike (Shakiba), and sister Nicole (Jason), and sister-in-law Annie. Gracie was the daughter of Jim Brown, and her dear late mother Sharon Brown. She was the proud aunt to six nieces and nephews, Tanner, Sydney, Oliver, Dakota, Nathan, and Danika. She also leaves behind her companion of six years Daren, as well as her fur babies, Twig and Katie, and many cherished friends.
Gracie will be most remembered for her passion for helping people and animals, and unwavering love for her family. She was a dedicated volunteer to many animal rescue organizations and other charitable causes. Her time was her most valuable asset, and she offered it so generously wherever she felt it was needed most. She was a talented jewellery maker, baker, loved camping in her van, music, writing, travelling, and spending time with her family and friends (2 feet, or 4). She took every opportunity to show and tell people how much she loved and appreciated them. She had a strong faith in Jesus and enjoyed attending church every Saturday. She was an avid believer in what positive energy you put out in the world will come back to you, something she practiced daily wherever she went. She was the most selfless and compassionate person and had an amazing sense of humor and ability to make people laugh with her many quirky ways. She will be so deeply missed.
Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Deerfoot South, 12281 – 40th Street SE, Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at 2:00p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
