Dear Lorraine and Jill (and family), We were very sorry to hear of Jim’s death. What an amazing man and amazing legacy. Our thoughts are with you and we hope that the memories you share together will bring you comfort and joy.
My sincerest condolences to Jim’s Family. I worked with Jim on the ice and on the executive and as an instructor with the Central Zone Referees many years ago.
So sorry to read about Jim’s passing. Our sincere condolences to you Lorraine and your family. Ivan and I were just talking about you both a few days ago wondering how you both were keeping. Ivan remembers the many fun times working with Jim in the Scouting circle and our fun times at the Scout conventions and parties. Lorraine, take care and remember the fun times together. Time does heal and keep smiling.

It was with great sorrow hearing of Jims’ death. Knowing him over many years working with and for in various venues this true gentleman character shone thru. He was a man who knew friendship and held it with pride, I know I had the honor of being one. I wish Lorainne and her family well at this trying time knowing that Jim will be with them in there hearts forever.
Keep the faith, we will be together again.
Jim Morris
Lorainne and family, Please allow us to extend our sincere sympathy on the passing of your husband Jim.

What a wonderful person to have had for a brother-in-law. Jim was always friendly, made you feel welcome and eager to help you when you needed it. He will be sorely missed by all of us.

Dear Lorainne, Rob, Nancy, Jill and Leanne and families;
We have been so blessed to have known your husband/dad Jim. His genuine smile, easy laughter and engaged conversations always helped us feel welcomed at any of your family gatherings. This decided approach to living is so evident to me in our dear Sam, Therese and Alyssa.
I recall feeling so very special and included as part of your “clan” when I saw the screen shot of Jim holding my daughter Ava at age 2 weeks on his home computer… of course, it was you, Lorainne, who was there to take the picture! Thank you for including our family as part of yours: thank you Leanne for your friendship and for loving our family as your own.
We remain yours in gratitude for having known Jim, and for having so many special memories of good times together to cherish.
Our love and support always; Chris, Franco Ava and Mia
Jim’s Family
It is with great sorrow that I read of Jim’s passing today. For those of you who never heard of me, Jim and I were greatest of friends growing up in Inglewood, and later, kind of lost touch as many do as our lives take different paths. Now I realize how much I have missed.
Our sincerest condolences to Lorraine and family
Dear Lorraine & Family , We are thinking of you as you share your precious memories and love with one another. Sincerely Les & Marg
Lorraine and Family: We just read of Jim’s passing in the paper. We are so sorry to hear this sad news. Jim was always such an upbeat, positive person and although we didn’t see him often, it was always a pleasure to chat with him. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad time.

Lorraine to you and your family,
Jim was the definition of a gentleman. His integrity could not be compromised and he was always very kind. It was a privilege to have worked with Jim as a Scout, and to have known him.
Take care.
Maggie
For Grandpa Jim,
I was very saddened to hear that you had passed away, especially because I was not able to be there for your final days. However, I am extremely grateful to have been a part of your life for the past 20 years of mine. I always enjoyed learning about your life and how you helped build the family I am so proud to be a part of. I love my Mom, Nancy, very much, as I love my Aunts and Uncle, and this is due to yours and Gram’s endless love and care for your children. Though your passing is difficult to come to terms with, I know that all the time we shared together was valuable and I will forever remember your wisdom, insight and laughter. Right now I am having an experience of a lifetime studying in the Netherlands and I hope you knew that you are an important inspiration for me taking on this adventure. Thank you for the years of love and support and I know that you are well at peace.
Your Grandson,
Peter J. Friedrichsen
So sad to say a final good-bye to such a wonderful man, and a special neighbour, for so many years. We moved to Calgary, next door to Jim and Lorraine, and were invited immediately to Jim’s 50th Birthday, beginning a long true friendship. We will miss you Jim, but never forget you.
Love Vince and Lynn
