Condolences
Bob, you are going to missed. You have always been a part of my family and will continue in the memories I have.
Love Lynda and the pups.
Mavis and family, Lucy and I are so sorry to read of Bob’s passing in the Herald. He was such a great person to work with at Avmax. Even after he left Avmax it was a joy to talk with him at your home on occasions when I came to see you.
I was greatly saddened to hear of Bob’s passing from Mavis yesterday.
Bob and I worked at the same company some years ago and the many conversations we had together made an otherwise challenging job much more tolerable. His ever listening ear, understated wisdom and ability to bring levity to any troubling situation proved a calming safe haven for me. In recent years I enjoyed Bob’s interactions during Tax consultations with Mavis while she gently tried to steer the conversation back to the task at hand. Point being Bob just couldn’t resist his interest in people and what was happening in their lives. I will miss him. My heartfelt condolences to Mavis and the entire family.
My condolences to Bob's family. You were in the oldest Waddell cousins and I was in the youngest end so I never really knew you but I always new you were in a wonderful family. I always was aware of your comings and goings because of your auntie Rose ,my mom who was always aware of what was happening in her nieces and nephews lives. My prayers for those you eft behind. Your cousin Janice.
Uncle Bob was the sweetest- so playful and kind! He always had a way to make you chuckle or smile! Whether recounting a hockey game, golf or his love of mooses-- he always found a way to relate to people young - young at heart! Your yxe fam (extended or bonus whatever you'll call us ) will miss you dearly.
I thought I would share a little memory. I don't remember exactly how old I was- Aunty Mavis had been in Regina on my birthday- so took me out for supper ( I think to Thomas Cook). Ofcourse Uncle Bob ( not yet Uncle Bob) was going to come- and he was so much fun! I remember there she told me that they were going to get married! I remember I was legit so excited because Uncle Bob was like my favorite Uncle type guy! and I/ we got to keep him haha. He was always such fun. As kid- to adult with kids of my own, he always had such a spark and ability to make kids feel special and heard! Love u Uncle Bob. Love you Aunty Mavis.
-Laura ( and the Petrishen-Ha fam)
Bob was a wonderful guest, fun, interesting and interested. Always wanted to do something to be helpful, cheerfully chopping wood, spreading mulch.... Truly he was kindness itself. We are better people for having had his example in our lives.
