Condolences
From Margaret and Ben De Laet, and Doreen Kot
We first met Fraser through CUPS, the Calgary Urban Projects Society, who asked us to assist him when he returned from Edmonton to improve his health. This was many years ago. His "friends" had used his basement apartment for entertainment purposes, in his absence, and left it in a deplorable state, including a broken window.
We replaced his 'fridge and bed, provided him with other necessities including food, generally helped him back on his feet and established a long-lasting friendship, always willing to listen and help as he struggled with personal difficulties. We helped him move once or twice. He enjoyed the computer we provided him with, and he shared his good news, like when he started receiving A.I.S.H.
He was good-natured, with a sense of humor and generosity. We will miss him.
My deepest sympathies to all that knew Fraser. I will remember his quick smile and our weekly chats when I would see him on Sundays fondly. He will be missed.
Rest easy my friend.
I will miss my Uncle Fraser he may have not been blood but he was family to me I've known him my whole life when he dated my Grandmother Lily and even when she passed he's always been apart of my family I will miss his kindness and his goofy smile RIP Uncle I'll see you on the other side
Thanks for sharing your beautiful soul Fraser. Your kindness and good intentions were an example to be treasured.
Soldier on in your next adventure my Friend.
Jack
I loved you so much Uncle Fraser. You were such a kind and gentle person and I always enjoyed our phone calls and getogethers when I made it to Calgary. My heart hurts so much knowing you’re gone but I’m sure you’re up there hanging and laughing with Grandma. Xoxo
I have many fond memories of Fraser.
He was a kind and gentle soul and always smiling.
Rest in peace dear Fraz.
I will miss you.
Many memories of Fraser. He was a big part of my life when I moved to Canada many years ago..and still was a part of my life. . Fly high fraser until we meet again.you will be missed.
Fraser made me smile every single time I saw him.
My heart is very saddened by his sudden passing…our great loss and heaven’s gain!
He had such a sweet demeanour and wonderful warm smile.
It was very evident that he enjoyed coming to the “Well Cafe” as often as he could.
He was so friendly and would be sure to introduce or point out his friends that he cared about to those he was chatting with.
Fraser you are forever in my heart! I miss you buddy!
Love Lonnie
Fraser is one our friends at Centre Street Church, at the Compassion Ministry. He always smiled, and was very warm hearted, and my fondest memory of him was when he declared Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour.
He always said with a smile, "Everybody knows my name here"
