Condolences
She made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible. She walked with the universe on her shoulders and made it look like a pair of wings."
Barb, my friend, you will be missed by me! I remember when we were working together and you would have a drink of your water, and I remember hearing you say aaahhh! after each drink. I would immediately say to you, "it's that good huh!", to which you would say...dam right!, and we would both burst out in laughter! We even brought it up when I visited you at the hospital. I was so pleased, because it brought back our laughter together, and it allowed you to temporarily forget about your situation. I will miss our chats and laughter together, especially when I would occasionally visit you at the Condo to help you with a few things that needed to be looked at and fixed. You always had a lot of your wonderful baking goods ready, to which we would share some together. Your gratitude and hospitality is second to none my friend!

Dear Barb (Grandma),
Twenty years of knowing you. We shared many good, too many bad, some exciting and some heartbreaking times over those years. We rarely shared the same view of the world, but even then, there was a mutual respect for you as Grandma and me as Mom. There was never a doubt that you loved your two beautiful grandchildren, Ashley & Brett. Some of their best memories were the summer vacation getaways the 4 of us took annually when the kids were smaller. I promise to continue your Christmas Eve PJ tradition, cloud watching, the strolls through Babbling Brook and painting rocks for our yard. We are very grateful for our recent visit, sad that you are gone, but we are comforted knowing you are no longer in pain and can rest. You will have a place in our hearts that lives on.
XOXO
Danielle, Ashley & Brett
MOM,
NOW THAT I AM OLDER
As I look back on the years
I begin to understand
All my life you have loved me
Only as a mother can.
I see the love that surrounded
The countless sleepless nights
The scraped knees hurtful feelings
Your hugs and kisses magically made right
Your sound advice and guidance
When I really needed you
The happy days spent together
Talking and laughing as we do
The many times you went without
To build a better life for me
Your endless love has made a difference
In to who I have become
Mom Your love has come full circle
As I now love and honor you
Your always in my heart
I love you so much Mom
Love Your daughter
Michelle
