My heartfelt sympathy goes out to my dear friend Andrea and her family. I have known Andrea and Dave for over 30 years. During this time we shared countless memorable times together that i will never forget. Dave was a man with an abundance of talent in so many areas and touched so many lives.

I am so very sorry to hear of Dave's passing. He played a very important part in the Calgary music community and in the big band music community in Canada. It was an honour for me to work with him for many years, publicizing the excellent big band he assembled. I send love and sympathy to Andrea, to all of Dave's family and friends, and to all of the wonderful musicians who performed with Prime Time Big Band during its 29 years. Dave may be gone from us now, but he will always hold a special place in our hearts.

My fondest memory was working with him and the PPCLI Band at the Jack Singer Christmas Concert with Tommy Banks on piano. Thanks for the Music Dave you will be greatly missed.

My deepest condolences to Dave's family. Dave was one of a kind, a charismatic, intense, professional leader and musician. I had the good fortune to work with him on a few occasions in the CAF as well on civie street. I know he has made an indelible mark on a lot of people, and will be missed.
