Condolences
Carol and I were neighbours for 30+ years. Before her retirement we took the bus/c-train to downtown at the same time in the morning. The trip to work was very enjoyable because Carol was a very knowledgeable, humorous person and a good listener to my whining about my job.
When she moved with her daughter’s family a couple of years ago, I was glad she sold her place to her sister and I would still see her when she visited.
I will miss her friendship and sense of humour.
I wish to convey my heartfelt condolences to her family. May she rest in peace.
While Carol was working for the Federal Government and then the Alberta government she was the mentor to the Assessment Service of CVS. She guided us through the process of learning assessment, provided all the necessary information regarding training and Unemployment insurance - she was truly a wealth of information which she shared willingly and she was a gifted teacher - the team that worked with her during those years were very sad to learn of her passing. I wanted the family to know how appreciated she was and how well respected she was within the field and we looked forward to our regular meetings and visits. It was the good old days and she was a special woman. The Assessment team of CVS wanted the family to know how we appreciated her = thanks for sharing her. The Team send their condolences. Sincerely Jayne Border
Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for the loss of your beloved sister, mother, grandmother, Carol. Carol was our neighbour for twenty-one years and when she told us she was moving, it was truly sad. We were so pleased that she sold her house to her sister Linda and that we would still be able to see her and her family. We had many a great chat standing out in the front yard. She was always so knowledgeable about so many interesting topics. We will miss her.
Wishing you the strength to face to days ahead and wonderful memories to cherish forever. May your hearts mend a little with each passing day.
With deepest condolences
Ken and Kathy Wedin
