Obituary of Suzanne Pauline LOCKERT

LOCKERT, Suzanne Pauline (nee Masse) July 15, 1964 – Mankota, SK January 17, 2014 – Calgary, AB It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Suzanne Pauline Lockert passed away peacefully on Friday, January 17, 2014 at the age of 49 years. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Suzanne was born in Mankota, SK. on July 15, 1964. She attained her teaching degree at the University of Calgary and has taught for 23 years in various schools in Calgary and Airdrie. Her family and friends were a vital part of her life. She loved to travel, was an amateur photographer and passionate scrap booker. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and love her. She will be sadly missed by her husband Greg; sons Cody (gf Breanna) and Joshua (gf Tori); parents Paul and Helene Masse and father-in-law Ben Lockert; siblings Carmen(Mitch) Emery; nieces and nephews Kieva and Emilie, Rick(Wanda) Masse, Cole, Pat(Tanis) Lockert, Spencer, Jamin, Shannon(Steve) English, Sean and Jason, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is predeceased by her mother-in-law Sheilagh Lockert. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, (1305 Main Street, Airdrie, Alberta) on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. A special thank you to Dr. Vickers as well as the nurses in the Tom Baker Cancer Clinic, and all those at the Agape Hospice.
